How Does LiteSpeed Cache Work?
LiteSpeed Cache generates static HTML files from your dynamic WordPress website and stores them on your server’s hard disk or RAM.
When a visitor requests a page, they are served the static HTML file instead of loading PHP every time.
This drastically reduces server load and speeds up your website significantly.
Check your LSCWP Version
LSCache is a feature available in LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) versions 5.0 and higher, and LSWS Enterprise versions 4.2 and higher. If you are using an older version of LSWS, you will need to upgrade to the latest version in order to use this feature.
To check your LSWS version, log into the LiteSpeed Web Admin Console and click on the “Server Status” tab. The information at the top of the page will include the product name (LSWS) and the current version number.
If you are using a supported version of LSWS but litespeed cache is not working, please check your debug log for any error messages that may indicate why litespeed cache is disabled.

LiteSpeed Cache CDN is enabled but not caching
If you have lscache enabled but are not seeing any caching taking place, there are a few things you can check:
– Make sure that the cache is enabled for your site. Navigate to Settings > litespeed cache and ensure that the “Enable” checkbox is checked.
– If you’re using a plugin or theme that isn’t compatible with litespeed cache, caching may not be taking place. Try disabling all plugins and themes (except litespeed cache) and see if caching starts working. If so, re-enable your plugins and themes one by one until you find the culprit.
– Make sure that you’re making use of one of litespeed cache’s supported page builders: Beaver Builder, Divi Builder, Elementor, Visual Composer, or WPBakery Page Builder. If you’re not using one of these page builders, litespeed cache may not be able to cache your pages properly.

Change in LiteSpeed Cache Settings
By default LSCache plugin has some settings and does not add any code to the page. To better cache your content, you could have enabled new settings or changed the optons. It could have caused the LSCache error. In such case, export your current settings as backup. Then reset LSCache to the default settings.
Then enable each new setting and check the error. Purge all has to be done after enabling each new setting. If the error comes up then that is the problematic setting. If the litespeed cache is working then it is not the issue.
Check JavaScript Optimization
If certain functionality or buttons are not working, then that could be the error due to JS minification settings or optimization.
Check CSS Optimization
If pages are not rendering properly, then check the settings with CSS minification. You could have disabled necessary ones and enabled unnecessary settings. LiteSpeed cache css error can be due to wrong optimization settings.
LiteSpeed Cache Image Optimization
If there are broken images, then it is the error caused during webp image generation or optimization.
LiteSpeed cache breaks site
Do you use the LiteSpeed Cache plugin? If so, you may have experienced an issue where the plugin breaks the site and/or causes database corruption. This can happen if lscache is disabled in the plugin settings.
To fix this, you will need to delete the litespeed-cache folder from your WordPress installation. This will remove all files associated with the plugin, so make sure you have a backup before proceeding.
Once the folder has been deleted, you can reinstall the plugin from scratch. Be sure to re-enable lscache in the settings before trying to use it again.
WordPress Cache issues
If you’re having issues with litespeed cache not working on your WordPress site, there are a few things you can try.
First, make sure that you’ve activated the cache plugin and that it’s compatible with your version of WordPress.
If it is, then try clearing your browser cache and cookies and reloading the page.
If that doesn’t work, try deactivating and reactivating the cache plugin.
